YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
Effective September 20, 2026 · Version 2026-09-20-v1
This policy explains how Southwest Surplus Recovery ("we," "us," or "our") handles information collected through this website, inquiries, and optional text-message preferences.
Information we collect
When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and any message you provide. If you select an SMS option, we also record that selection, the exact disclosure shown, the policy version, the submission date and time, the source page, and browser information. We retain selections that were not checked so we do not treat an ordinary inquiry as SMS consent.
Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requests, and authentication information. This website uses a temporary hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions; it is not used for marketing. Staff access requires authentication.
We may separately receive information from public records or lead sources for research. A purchased or skip-traced phone number is not evidence that its owner has consented to texts from us.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to respond, assess whether we can assist, organize requested services, maintain communication preferences, prevent abuse, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. If you separately choose an SMS option, that choice applies only to the category described beside that option. We do not enroll website visitors in texts simply because they provide a phone number.
Mobile information and SMS consent
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide information to service providers that help us deliver the messaging program, such as communications platforms and carriers, solely as necessary to perform those services. Opt-in consent is not transferable to another business.
We keep service-related and marketing text preferences separate. Consent is voluntary and is not required to submit an inquiry, purchase, or receive services. See our SMS Terms.
Other disclosures of information
We use providers for website hosting, storage, security, email, and communications. They may process information to provide those services. When necessary for assistance you request, we may share relevant case information with professional advisers or an attorney involved in your matter, subject to applicable requirements. This does not permit those parties to use your SMS opt-in information for their own marketing. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and the security of our services.
Website services and third-party links
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which can receive technical details such as your IP address when your browser requests those fonts. The site does not include advertising pixels or a marketing analytics script. Our hosting and authentication providers may use their own necessary cookies and logs. Links to other websites and the email or phone apps opened by contact links are governed by their respective providers’ policies.
Retention and security
We retain inquiries and consent evidence as needed to respond, provide requested services, document choices, and meet applicable obligations. Opt-out records may be kept to prevent unwanted future texts. We limit access to the inquiry inbox and use HTTPS for website submissions. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you provided, email Mmoehlmann@southwestsurplusrecovery.com or call (505) 302-0438. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We may retain records required for legal obligations, disputes, or suppression of further messages.
Once messaging is activated, reply STOP to a text to opt out, or HELP for assistance. You can also withdraw your SMS request at any time by contacting us using the email or phone above, including before messaging is activated. Opting out of texts does not prevent you from using our services through other channels.
Sensitive information and children
Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank details, identity documents, or other sensitive case materials through this inquiry form. This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Changes and contact
Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date. A policy update does not expand previously granted SMS consent. Questions may be directed to Southwest Surplus Recovery at Mmoehlmann@southwestsurplusrecovery.com or (505) 302-0438.
